The Share Care Awards were held with four recipients receiving awards. The first award, the Sharing Care award, went to Dr. Cedric baton for his story about Sally Sanders, a surgical nurse who has touched countless lives with her work. The Person of the Year award was given to Dr. Joy for her work in mental health. The Organization of the Year was awarded to the Rally Foundation for its work in cancer research for children. Lastly, Ashanti, a singer and world-renowned philanthropist, was given the Lifetime Achievement Award for her work in supporting many causes including domestic violence prevention and mental health.
